Rhett Cecil is a veteran nonprofit leader and high-tech entrepreneur who has partnered with volunteers, staff, Board of Directors and a myriad of partners to build successful and sustainable-mission-oriented organizations. After spending nearly a decade working for national nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Rhett knows what truly drives successful outcomes for organizations and its partners - and it usually has very little to do with the latest fads or technology apps. It's how well you connect with people, the people you're trying to help and the people who are willing to stand beside you to help you serve your mission.
Prior to joining the nonprofit management industry, Rhett held several leadership roles in professional sports, with such organizations as the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball, the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, and the ATP Tour's RCA Tennis Championships. Additionally, Rhett has been engaged in the high-tech industry, leading a division for PrecisionHawk, one of the world's largest drone analytics company and has co-founded two disruptive technology companies.
Rhett holds an BA in Economics from Denison University and Master's Certificates in Nonprofit Management and Fundraising from Indiana University.
