Back on My Feet (BoMF) doesn’t work without the support of our corporate partners. They are our funders, our employment partners, our champions and our friends. We do not see ourselves as a charity, but rather a for-purpose nonprofit organization that advances our mission while helping our partners to accomplish their community, marketing, business and employee engagement objectives at the same time.
“Marriott International has a long history of serving our communities through a variety of charitable organizations. As soon as I heard about Back on My Feet, I knew it was a great fit with our company culture. We continually look for ways to strengthen the communities where our guests and employees live and work. Back on My Feet helps address some of the most pressing challenges we face in our communities—homelessness, unemployment and poverty.” - Dave Grissen, President, The Americas, Marriott International
Back on My Feet has created unique and effective campaigns and events including the 20in24 Race Challenge in Philadelphia, BoMF National Sneaker Week, The Glow Run in Dallas, the New Year’s Day Race in Boston and our annual chapter Birthday Bashes where guests enjoy an amazing evening in their cocktail attire and sneakers. We have also created specific campaigns for companies around wellness that encourage employees to accomplish a personal goal while also giving back to the community. In many instances, our Residential Members (those experiencing homelessness) serve as the inspiration for your employees to get moving!
BoMF is proud to partner with United Way and other employee giving campaigns and we welcome the opportunity to be a part of your workplace philanthropic goals.
