Bryan fell in love with training and development as a sales manager at Procter and Gamble. He has since worked in the entrepreneurial sector teaching, coaching, selling and leading using the Caskey philosophy and process. Bryan has a diverse set of experiences and accomplishments to his credit: National Sales manger, award winning sale person, business owner, private pilot, real estate developer, self-taught pianist, DJ, contestant on The Price is Right, co-founder of one of largest student philanthropies in the country and father of four children. He also works as a Big Ten football official and has officiated such notable games as Notre Dame v. Penn State, Appalachian State v. Michigan, Michigan v. Ohio State, 2007 Cotton Bowl, 2008 Gator Bowl. Bryan draws on all these experiences to create an entertaining, useful and interactive program for your group. He is truly unique.

Deseri is a dynamic coach, facilitator, and amateur athlete. A coach at heart, her passion for genuinely connecting with people and identifying what is important to them are the cornerstones of the company. It is this dedication that complements her ability to develop team and personal effectiveness. Prior to launching Vida Aventura, Deseri spent nearly 20 years in business development, where she gained invaluable insight into the value of relationship building and communication within organizations. Deseri is ACCT certified (Association for Challenge Course Technology). She combines her coaching and athletic excellence to help runners and walkers prepare for charity race events.
General Manger, Indianapolis Marriott Downtown
Phil Ray joined White Lodging Services (WLS) in 2010 from Omni Hotels where he served as the general manager of the Omni Severin Hotel, Indianapolis.
Phil is a graduate of Bentley University, Ray joined Marriott International and started his career in finance at Boston Long Wharf, Dallas Fort Worth, Las Colinas Mandalay, Desert Springs Resort, Portland Maine, and Newport Rhode Island. In addition, he served as controller of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco and director of finance of the Plaza Hotel in New York. He later moved into operations as director of services at the Doral Arrowwood with Omni hotels and then became GM of the Omni Severin where he has been for the last several years.
He was named Omni Hotels GM of the year in 2007, Indiana Hotel Lodging Association GM of the year in 2008, and was also the recipient of the Indianapolis Tourism Leadership Award in 2009. Ray is a former president of the Great Indy Hotel Association and is currently a board member of the Indy Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Indianapolis Chef's Academy.
General Manager, JW Marriott Indianapolis
Scott has beein in the hospitality industry for 22 years. Prior to joining White Lodging four years ago, Scott was with Marriott International for 18 years, starting his career as an entry level manager on the opening team for the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter. He went on to hold a number of positions in multiple Marriott brands including Group Sales Manager, Courtyard General Manager and General Manager of the Houston Marriott Greenspoint. In 2001 he took on the position of Regional Vice President of Lodging Management with overall responsibility for the Marriott Managed Courtyards, Residence Inns, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites in the South Central part of the country. His final assignment with Marriott, before joining White Lodging, was General Manager of Marriott’s Rancho Las Palmas Resort.
Scott joined White Lodging in 2006 as Regional Vice President for the Chicago / Northwest Indiana area. Wanting to get back to managing a full service hotel, Scott accepted then his most recent position as General Manager of the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Scott, his wife Renee and their 2 children, Chris – 6, and Abby – 7, are thrilled to call Indianapolis home and are looking forward to this newest assignment with the JW Marriott.
Amy joined Accenture in 1998 after completing her BS in Management Information Systems from Indiana State University. She worked in the consulting practice for about 9 years before moving into the Business Process Outsourcing group. She is currently a Support Center Contract Lead within the Delivery Services group where she has spent the past 5 years implementing and running support centers in the finance and procurement space.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. Photography is a hobby of hers which is utilized by capturing the life of their 6 year old twins and their travels through a blog. She also enjoys running with a group of ladies in her neighborhood early in the morning.
Amy joined the Indianapolis board in June 2011 after attending the Indianapolis Chapter launch in March. She was part of the inaugural run and felt really touched by seeing the group join and connect to meet the end goal of running 1 mile.
President, Indianapolis Downtown, Inc
Indianapolis, Downtown, Inc is uniquely and totally focused on improving Downtown by addressing issues that affect the area's growth and well-being. Sherry was formerly the executive director of the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority since 2005 and whose entire career has focused on community development. Issues she has managed in this position include optimizing quality of life and sustainability in communities, creating safe neighborhoods with new opportunities for retail, recreation and employment, adapting living environments and homelessness. Prior to her state position, she was program director for Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) for eight years. Earlier, she was an administrator and project manager for the City of Indianapolis' Department of Metropolitan Development (1993-1997) and executive director of United Northwest Area Development Corporation from 1989 to 1993. She serves on the board for the Economic Club of Indianapolis and the advisory committees of LISC and the Federal Home Loan Bank. An Indianapolis native and 1986 graduate of Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs, she and her husband are the parents of a teenage daughter.
Partner, Krieg Devault
David is not only a strong advocate for Back on My Feet in the community, he is also the Wheeler Mission Team Leader and runs with the team three days a week. David concentrates his practice in health care, corporate, administrative and regulatory law. He handles regulatory compliance and administrative appeals, contract review and negotiation, business transactions, and general commercial and corporate legal matters for for-profit and nonprofit health care and general business organizations and individuals. Dave went to Boston College Law School, in Newton, Massachusetts.
Retail Execution Director, AT&T
James is currently a Director with AT&T and responsible for the execution of retail strategy and planning in Indiana and Michigan. James has held several sales and operational positions during his 17 year career with AT&T or its predecessors. He started his career in St. Louis Missouri after attending University of Missouri-Columbia. In 2005, he relocated to Indianapolis, assuming the role of Sales Operations Director for AT&T’s consumer sales organization. He has earned AT&T’s highest recognition for sales achievement three times and has earned the Service Excellence Award, which recognized him for his outstanding contributions in sales support and operational roles. Over the course of his career, he has played key roles in historic industry events such as the launch of the first Apple iPhone that was exclusive to AT&T. He was also a primary stakeholder in the integration of several mergers and acquisitions including Cingular, AT&T Wireless, Dobson, Centennial, and Alltel. James enjoys running and playing soccer. He and his wife have three children and are proud to call Indianapolis their home.
Vice President and Counsel, Pedcor Companies
Michele is a trial attorney, with experience litigating employment, personal injury, family law, civil rights, and general business and civil matters. She currently serves as Vice President and Counsel for Pedcor Companies, a national property development and management company. She handles the majority of the company’s in-house litigation, conducts employee training, and provides general business advice. She received her business undergraduate degree from the Kelley School of Business and her law degree from the Maurer School of Law, both located at Indiana University Bloomington. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and dogs, and is a photographer and writer in her spare time. Michele first became involved with Back on My Feet when she participated in the inaugural 42K Relay in October of 2011. She and her husband currently run with one of the Indianapolis teams at least once per week.
Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Operations, Simon Property Group
Simon Property Group, which is headquartered in Indianapolis, is an S&P 100 Company and the largest real estate company in the world. Mr. Krema joined the Company in July of 2011. Prior to joining Simon, Mr. Krema was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Lawson Products, an industrial distributor of maintenance and repair supplies. Mr. Krema also previously served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer of The Anixter Center, a non-profit organization that supports individuals and adults with developmental disabilities. Prior to Anixter, he was employed by Equity Office Properties Trust, a Fortune 500 commercial real estate company, as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Krema’s career also includes previous leadership positions with The Limited and Federated Department Stores. Mr. Krema received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He currently resides in Indianapolis with his wife, Julie, and three children.
